I want to attach a 250V-20A plug to the end of the optional AC8-1P3M-M5C-3S (input power cord) of PCR-LE series, but why doesn’t the 8 sq crimped terminal fit the plug?

If you want to use a plug, please use a 30 A type plug.
For PCR2000LE, which is recommended to use AC8-1P3M-M5C-3S, the apparent power is specified as 3.6 kVA. So, if the power factor is 1, the input current will be 18 A, but the maximum input current is specified as 21.5 A, so an 8 sq terminal is selected.
The maximum current is 21.5 A and when the power factor is 0.9, the input current will be approx. 24 A. This is equal to the 30 A breaker being derated by 80 %.
We have selected the optional power cord assuming that the power cord of 8 sq is directly connected to a 30 A circuit breaker.
