Overview
Suitable for evaluation tests of high-frequency electronic components and precision electronic circuits
KDS6-0.2TR is designed for use on production and inspection lines for high-frequency components capable of low supply current and low voltage operation that have become dominantly popular in recent years, as well as for a variety of electronic devices such as ICs, LSIs,and sensors. This product is a low-noise, highly stable DC voltage power supply with 3-channel output.
It solves problems such as!
On production and inspection lines for mobile phone VCOs and other products.
- Three standard voltage generators are required for drive and control, which is costly. Ripple noise is common…
Since it has three outputs, only one unit is required. Ripple noise is as low as 100 µVrms or less, so even a high-sensitivity VCO can be used with confidence. - Slow GPIB control response and takt time, need precision DMM for Current reading…
A fast 5 ms GPIB and a 6-digit Ammeter with the fastest refresh time of 60 ms eliminate the need for a DMM. - When reassembling a line, wiring with the wrong polarity can cause line problems…
Only one 25-pin D-Sub connector is required for connection, preventing mistakes when rewiring.
High-frequency circuits and high-gain circuits in the field of development.
- It is difficult to design high-gain amplifiers and high-sensitivity VCOs with a general-purpose power supply, which is noisy and difficult to set the voltage precisely…
Low ripple noise below 100 µVrms, with a voltage setting resolution of 100 µV. - I’m not sure I’d use an expensive DMM just to check microcurrents…
A fast 5 ms GPIB and a 6-digit Ammeter with the fastest refresh time of 60 ms eliminate the need for a DMM. - I want to make it easier to take large amounts of data…
Supports RS-232C and GPIB as standard interfaces
At ECU and mobile phone software development sites
- It is difficult to check the operation of the programme without waiting for the hardware to be ready.
It can also be run from a control microcontroller using RS-232C. The high resolution is also useful when dealing with bugs that occur around certain voltage values.

About the load
Unlike general DC power supplies, this product is optimally designed as a low-noise voltage source. It is therefore not suitable for applications where loads with sudden current changes are driven. If the peak current is below the maximum current permitted for each channel, the OCP function can be used without being activated. However, a voltage fluctuation of ±0.1 V to ±0.5 V may occur for a few ms (*value for resistive loads) after a sudden current change.
