This software is to update the firmware version of the PCR-LE2 Series.
Ver.
5.07
Last update
2020/11/4
Configuration
Applied Products : PCR-LE2 Series – All models
Applied Firmware Version : ver4.00 or later
Caution: If you update a PCR6000LE2 or PCR9000LE2 whose firmware version is 4.00, the DC output in three-phase AC+DC mode will not meet the specifications. If you want to use three-phase AC+DC mode after updating the firmware, the PCR-LE2 hardware must be adjusted. For this adjustment, contact your Kikusui agent or distributor.
Notes
Confirm the firmware version of the PCR-LE2.
*You can confirm the firmware version by the CONFIG (SHIFT + OPR MODE) > MODEL ID (F5).
If any data is stored in the internal memory, save the data to the USB memory before updating the firmware version.
The USB memory (up to 16GB) that recognizes the PCR-LE2 is required for the firmware update
*To confirm the applicable USB memory : Insert the USB memory to the USB port of the PCR-LE2, then check for the display. If the “USB Memory Found” shows on the display, the USB memory can be used for the firmware update. If the USB can not be recognized by the PCR-LE2, nothing will be displayed.
In case of failure for the installation of firmware version update, please contact your local distributor.
The protection function when the output voltage range is L range and Vcc is FIXed has been improved.
VER 5.06
2020-3-25
PCR-LE firmware
Fixed
When a protection function was activated by the detection of outage, processing to invalidate the output control from SCPI command has been added.
VER 5.05
2020-1-28
PCR-LE firmware
Fixed
When the SD021-PCR-LE reconnects communication with the PCR-LE, the problem that setting frequency became the input frequency (50Hz or 60Hz) has been corrected.
VER 5.03
2018-11-22
PCR-LE firmware
Fixed
When the SD021-PCR-LE reconnects communication with the PCR-LE, the problem that setting frequency became the input frequency (50Hz or 60Hz) has been corrected.
VER 5.02
2017-10-10
PCR-LE firmware
Fixed
The sudden phase change feature of the sequence function has been corrected.
VER 5.01
2017-9-08
PCR-LE firmware
Added
The single-phase three-wire/three-phase system (option) feature has been improved. The master-slave parallel operation (option) has been improved. Firmware version 5.xx is not compatible with version 4.xx or earlier. As such, a firmware version check function that runs when a multi-phase operation system or parallel operation system is turned on has been added. If the PCR-LE system contains a mixture of version 5.xx and version 4.xx or earlier versions, “TRBL-22 VERSION ERROR” will occur when the power is turned on.
Added
An aperture time setting function has been added. * In conjunction with this addition, the following functions have been changed or deleted. - The measurement update interval of measured values has been changed to aperture time (except line voltage measurements and harmonic current analysis data). - The measurement averaging function has been deleted. - The estimated minimum frequency function has been deleted (a function that was available when an analog signal interface option (EX05-PCR-LE) was installed).
Updated
The soft sensing correction range has been changed from +10% to ±10%.
Updated
Frequencies less than 40 Hz have been excluded from the Soft sensing operation correction range.
Improved
A function that displays the soft sensing control status on the front panel has been added.
Improved
The protection function processing that takes place when a sensing wire connection error is detected has been changed. When the protection function is activated, “ALM-22 SENSING FAILURE” will occur. To clear the sensing wire connection error, use alarm clear. * However, depending on the hardware version, the previous error (TRBL-22 SENSING FUSH TRIP) may occur. In this case, the method to clear the sensing wire connection error is the same as before (turn off the power switch and then back on).
